I created this piece for Griot Circle, an organization in Brooklyn that serves LGBT elders of color. It was great to get to know Barbara and other members to document the incredible impact the space has on their lives. Created in partnership with BRIC Media Arts.
In 2016, Rush Philanthropic opened a new gallery in Philadelphia, headed by artist Danny Simmons. I filmed and edited a video for the gallery opening and inaugural exhibition.

Corner Store explores the contemporary sociological and psychological intersections between pan-ethnic Black and Asian communities in Philadelphia and how our relationships are shaped based on which side/s of the counter we may stand.
