YEAR OF THE SNAKE

I was just messing around with textures and wanted to see what it might look like to have a snake roping itself through lettering. I enjoy the bright and graphically venomous coloring of the snake and lettering against the jungle-dark texture of the mossy green background. I thought about creating a series of graphic cards with information about that year, so I’m including the sketched prototype. But I quickly abandoned the idea, as I have no real connection to the Chinese New Year and there are other things I want to do. Still, it’s a decent concept.
