THE HERBALIST’S CUPBOARD

I love herbs and plants, and if you follow me on other social media platforms, you know that I’m a self-taught herbalist who’s been studying their use for the past couple of decades. At home, I’m constantly creating simples (single-herb tinctures) of my favorite plants, which work to treat and strengthen the function of various organs and overall health.

I’m geeked about this pastel piece, which was inspired by a corner of my cupboard, which is filled with the amber bottles that I use to store my medicine after it’s been steeped in alcohol for at least six to eight weeks. I’ve amassed quite a selection, some of which I use daily, and others that I keep on hand for occasional use. It’s empowering to know that I can heal myself of most maladies naturally and simply.
